VISION & MISSION

In our small hamlet of San Pancrazio, Bucine, Tuscany lies a beautiful old theatre and concert hall from the 1920s. The theatre, built for the Società Filarmonica di San Pancrazio, the musical association founded in 1916, has not been in use for almost fifty years. Structually still in good condition and with new roof since 2024 it is now owned by ”the Circolo”, the local leisure and recreational organization.
Our aim is to start a cultural non profit organisation that will lease the theatre from the owners, restore it and make it usable for concerts and other cultural events.
We hope to be able to start a Chamber Music Festival with a series of concerts during summertime with internationally acclaimed artists and musicians.
The festival aims to spread the appreciation of music and art through concerts, exhibitions and cultural events.
VISIONE & MISSIONE

Nel nostro piccolo borgo di San Pancrazio, Bucine, in Toscana, si trova un bellissimo teatro e sala concerti degli anni ’20. Il teatro, costruito per la Società Filarmonica di San Pancrazio, l’associazione musicale fondata nel 1916, è inutilizzato da quasi cinquant’anni. Strutturalmente ancora in buone condizioni e con un nuovo tetto dal 2024, è ora di proprietà del circolo ricreativo di San Pancrazio
Il nostro obiettivo è quello di creare un’associazione culturale senza scopo di lucro che affitterà il teatro dai proprietari, lo restaurerà e lo renderà utilizzabile per concerti e altri eventi culturali.
Ci auguriamo di poter dare il via a un Festival di Musica da Camera con una serie di concerti durante l’estate, con artisti e musicisti di fama internazionale.
Il festival mira a diffondere l’apprezzamento della musica e dell’arte attraverso concerti, mostre ed eventi culturali.

To make this happen we are in need of funds. The first step now is to make a proper evaluation for the costs needed to make the theatre safe and in working order for the first season, planned for summer 2026. The aim is to do all the necessary works during winter and spring and then present the first summer programme in 2026.

Per realizzare questo progetto abbiamo bisogno di fondi. Il primo passo ora è effettuare una valutazione adeguata dei costi necessari per rendere il teatro sicuro e operativo per la prima stagione, prevista per l’estate 2026. L’obiettivo è di svolgere tutti i lavori necessari durante l’inverno e la primavera e poi presentare il primo programma estivo già nel 2026.
